Blessed Pascual Fortuño Almela, also known as Blessed Pascual Fortuño, was born on 3 March 1886 in Villareal, Castellón, Spain, to a pious and hard-working family. He was baptized at the tender age of one day, symbolizing the early beginnings of his strong faith. Pascual's devoutness and desire to serve God led him to join the Franciscan Friar Minor novitiate at the early age of 12.
