Biography

Blessed Pere Tarrés I Claret was born to Francesco and Carmen Tarres i Claret in a devout Christian household. He was raised alongside his sisters, Francesca and Maria, who later entered the Conceptionist Order. Due to his father’s work as a mechanic, the family relocated frequently during his childhood. Pere received the sacraments of Confirmation on 31 May 1910 and First Communion on 1 May 1913. Educated by the Piarist Fathers and Jesuits, he assisted in a local
