Biografía

Beata Alfonsa Clerici, nacida el 14 de febrero de 1860 en Lainate, Milán, Italia, fue la mayor de diez hijos de Angelo y María Romano Clerici. Provenía de una familia pobre, pero profundamente religiosa. Dos de sus hermanos ingresaron en la vida monástica, y una de sus hermanas se unió a las Hermanas de la Sangre Preciosa.
