Beata Bertrada de San Gallo

Blessed Bertrada of Saint Gallen, also known as Saint Bertrada, was a devout Catholic woman who dedicated her life to the pursuit of holiness and the service of God. Although little is known about her early life, it is believed that she was born in the 10th century.

Bertrada's life took a significant turn when she was married, but her husband's passing left her a widow. Seeking solace and spiritual growth, she made a decision to join a cloister in the Church of Saint Magnus in Saint Gallen, Switzerland.
