Beato Eliseo María Camargo Montes

Blessed Eliseo María Camargo Montes, also known as Eliseo María Camargo Montes, was a member of the Carmelites of the Ancient Observance and a martyr of the Spanish Civil War. He was born on 4 June 1887 in Osuna, Seville, Spain. Eliseo María dedicated his life to serving God as a religious brother in the Carmelite order.

During the turbulent period of the Spanish Civil War, which took place from 1936 to 1939, Eliseo María Camargo Montes faced persecution for his faith. He courageously remained steadfast in his commitment to his religious calling, despite the dangers and challenges posed by the war.
