Beato Frederick de Hallum, también conocido como Frederick Feikone o Federico, nació en Hallum, Frisia (actual Países Bajos), en una familia humilde. Creció bajo la custodia de su madre viuda, quien le inculcó una profunda devoción a la Bendita Virgen María, San Juan Bautista y Santa Cecilia.
