Beato Jorge Napper, también conocido como Jorge Napier, nació en 1550 en Holywell Manor, Oxford, Inglaterra. Era hijo de Jorge y Ana Napper, y su padre era profesor en el Colegio All Souls. El Beato Jorge era sobrino nieto del Cardenal Guillermo Peto, figura destacada en la Iglesia Católica.
