There was a popular declaration and devotion to him immediately following his death; there is still a local devotion, and he appears on the diocesan calendar; the miraculous healing in 1525 of a girl dying of burns was attributed to his intercession; the official Cause has been open since the latter 17th century, and continues today

Beato Geremia Lambertenghi, también conocido como Jeremías o Jeremías, nació en Como, Italia, alrededor del año 1440.
