Beato Jocund Bonet Mercadé

Blessed Jocund Bonet Mercadé was a Catholic priest in the archdiocese of Tarragona, Spain. He was born on March 10, 1875, in Tarragona, and dedicated his life to serving God and the Catholic Church.

Blessed Jocund Bonet Mercadé was known for his deep spirituality and unwavering faith. Further honoring his memory and sacrifice, on October 13, 2013, Pope Francis beatified Blessed Jocund Bonet Mercadé. The beatification ceremony took place in Tarragona, Spain, a location of tremendous significance in his life and ministry.
