Biografía

Beato Johann Philipp Jeningen, también conocido como el Apóstol del Ries, nació el 5 de enero de 1642 en Eichstátt, Baviera, Alemania. Entró en la orden de los Jesuitas el 19 de enero de 1663 en Landsberg y fue ordenado sacerdote el 11 de junio de 1672. Con su fervorosa y carismática naturaleza, Johann ganó rápidamente popularidad como misionero.
