Beato José Delgado Pérez

Blessed José Delgado Pérez, also known as José María de Manila, was a young Dominican friar who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on March 18, 1917, in Becerril de Campos, Palencia, Spain.

José Delgado Pérez entered the Dominican Order and was known for his devotion to God and his commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church. He embraced a life of prayer, study, and service, seeking to bring others closer to God through his example and preaching.
