Blessed Josefa Romero Clariana, also known as María del Calvario, was born on April 11, 1871, in Carlet, Valencia, Spain. She joined the Sisters of the Christian Doctrine and made her profession as a religious sister. With a deep devotion to her faith, Blessed Josefa dedicated her life to serving God and his people.
