Biografía

Blessed Juan Mesonero Huerta, also known as "Blessed Juan Mesonero," was a priest in the diocese of Ávila, Spain. He was born on 12 September 1913, in the town of Rágama, Salamanca, Spain. His venerated feast day is celebrated on 15 August.

Blessed Juan Mesonero Huerta dedicated his life to the service of the Lord and the spreading of the Catholic faith. He was ordained as a priest and served in various parishes within the diocese of Ávila. Known for his deep spirituality and commitment to his flock, he was greatly loved and respected by the people he served.

Tragically, during the Spanish Civil War, a period marked by intense religious persecution, Blessed Juan Mesonero Huerta was captured and martyred for his faith. On 15 August 1936, he was put to death in Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila, Spain, for refusing to renounce his religious beliefs.
