Beato Luciano Verdejo Acuña

Blessed Luciano Verdejo Acuña was a married layman in the diocese of Almeria, Spain, who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on October 26, 1885, in Almeria, Spain, and lived a faithful and devoted life as a husband and father.

Luciano Verdejo Acuña grew up in a devout Catholic family and embraced the teachings of the faith from an early age. The beatification ceremony took place on March 25, 2017, in the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Aguadulce, Almería, Spain.
