Biografía
Blessed María De La Encarnación De La Yglesia De Varo, also known as Sister María of Jesus, was born on 25 March 1891 in Cabra, Córdoba, Spain. She was a devoted member of the Sisters of the Pious Schools, a religious congregation dedicated to education and Christian formation. Blessed María dedicated her life to serving God and His people through her work as a teacher.
During the tumultuous era of the Spanish Civil War, in which political tensions and religious persecutions were rampant, Blessed María fearlessly embraced her faith and continued her mission of education.
