Blessed Michaël Nakashima Saburoemon, a devoted Jesuit lay brother, stands as a witness to unwavering faith in the face of persecution. Born in Japan during the period of intense anti-Christian edicts, his life was dedicated to the service of the Church. As a member of the Society of Jesus, he embraced the sacred duty of supporting the priesthood, even at the cost of his own life.
