Biografía
Blessed Tomás Carbonell Miquel was a Mercedarian priest who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on December 20, 1888, in Jijona, Alicante, Spain. Tomás dedicated his life to serving God and his fellow human beings as a member of the Mercedarian religious order.
During his years as a Mercedarian, Tomás devoted himself to the spiritual and material welfare of those in need. He exemplified the teachings of Catholicism through his selfless acts of charity and compassion.
