Vocabulary
schema.org can say a person has a title. It has no way to say a title is held over an interval, conferred by a named act, and capable of being suspended. These terms exist for that.
Interoperates with the catholicintelligence vocabulary, which carries dioceses, parishes, persons and news, and stops short of causes. Where an entity exists there, these terms point at it rather than minting a second identifier for the same thing. In use on the Sheen beatification.
sfam:Causesubclass of schema:ThingThe juridical process by which the Church examines whether a person may be publicly venerated. A process, not a person and not an event: it has its own duration, its own competent forum, and it can be suspended and resumed without the person changing at all.

Modelled as its own node rather than as a string on the person, because a phase begins on a date, by an act, under a named authority, and the same person passes through several.

The decree, not the ceremony: a beatification decree and the Mass at which it is read are two different things and only one of them can be postponed without changing the finding.
