The Apostles of Bulgaria were a group of missionaries and bishops who played a crucial role in the spread of Christianity in the area of modern Bulgaria. Their work followed in the footsteps of Saints Cyril and Methodius, the renowned brothers and missionaries who developed the Glagolitic alphabet and brought Christianity to the Slavic peoples.
