Grazide Lizier, née Fauré (fl. 1321), was a peasant from the Comté de Foix during the late thirteenth and early fourteenth century. Her home region was known for its Cathar heritage. During an anti-Cathar inquisition conducted by Catholic authorities, she was interrogated. The details of her life are recorded in the Fournier Register and analyzed in Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie's Montaillou. Grazide was born to Pons and Frabrisse Rives; her mother worked as a town wine seller. At fifteen or sixteen years old, she became the mistress of Pierre Clergue, the local priest, despite his known reputation as a rake with many sexual relationships. A year later, at Clergue's insistence, Grazide married an elderly local man named Pierre Lizier of Montaillou.
Despite her marriage, she continued to have an affair with Clergue, which lasted for four years until Pierre Lizier died when Grazide was twenty. After her husband’s death, she ended the relationship with Clergue. During her testimony, Grazide admitted that she did not believe having sex with Clergue was a sin because it was consensual and she enjoyed it. It is unknown what happened to Grazide after her interrogation.
