Saint Nazaria de Santa Teresa

Nazaria Ignacia March Mesa, born on January 10, 1889, in Spain, was a Spanish Roman Catholic professed religious and the founder of the Missionaries of the Crusade. She immigrated to Mexico where she joined a religious order before ministering primarily in Bolivia. Her life's work included serving brief stints in Spain to spread her religious order after relocating to Argentina, where she ultimately died on July 6, 1943. Nazaria Ignacia March Mesa was beatified by Pope John Paul II on September 27, 1992, and canonized by Pope Francis on October 14, 2018. Her feast day is celebrated on July 6.

Nazaria dedicated her life to religious service and the establishment of a new congregation. She was recognized for her heroic virtue and later canonized for her contributions to the Church. The Missionaries of the Crusade continue to carry out Nazaria's mission, spreading her teachings and devotion in various parts of the world.
