Saint Ursus of Toul, known as Saint Ours, was a 5th-century French bishop of Toul and an early saint of the Roman Catholic Church. He succeeded Saint Auspicius as bishop in 490 and played a role in the conversion of King Clovis I to Christianity by appointing one of his priests, Saint Waast, for this task during Clovis's visit to Toul in 496. Ours died around 500, though the exact date is uncertain. His remains were initially buried in the graveyard of Saint-Mansuy and later moved to the Abbey of St. Mansuy in 1026. Saint Ours was declared a saint by the Catholic Church, with his feast day celebrated on March 1.
Saint Ours is venerated locally, but no specific patronages are mentioned in the source text. He is depicted in art as a bishop holding a cross or a book, attributes typical of bishops of his time and role. No titles are explicitly attributed to him in the provided source.
