Saint Simone

Simone Antonio Pacoret de Saint-Bon was born on March 20, 1828, at Chambéry, then part of the Kingdom of Sardinia (now in France). He served as an admiral in the Italian Regia Marina and played a significant role in the development of the modern Italian fleet.
