Saint Teilo (c. 500 – 9 February c. 560) was a British Christian monk, bishop, and founder of monasteries and churches. Born near Tenby in Pembrokeshire, south Wales, he is believed to be a cousin, friend, and disciple of Saint David. He served as the bishop of Llandaff and founded the first church there, which later became Llandaff Cathedral. His tomb can still be found within its walls. Additionally, Teilo established Llandeilo Fawr and Penally Abbey at his birthplace.

Saint Teilo played a significant role in the early Christian development of Wales. He is venerated for his contributions to religious life and as a spiritual leader. The faithful seek his intercession for guidance and wisdom.
