Saint Abraham the Poor, a devoted disciple of Saint Pachomius of Tabenna, dedicated twenty-three years to monastic life under the saint’s guidance at the monastery of Tabenna. Following this period of formation, he embraced a life of profound solitude, retreating to a cave for seventeen years.
