Saint Antonio González, a devoted member of the Order of Preachers (Dominican Friars), dedicated his life to the Gospel in the perilous mission field of Japan during the intense persecution of Christians under the Tokugawa shogunate. Born in Spain, he embraced the Dominican vocation, committing himself to prayer, study, and the proclamation of the faith....
