San Bernardo de Alziva

Saint Bernard de Alziva, along with his two sisters, stands as a witness to the transformative power of faith in the face of persecution. Born in a context where Islam was the prevailing faith, Bernard and his sisters made a profound and perilous choice: they embraced the Christian faith, converting from Islam through the grace of God. This act of conversion, undertaken as a family, was not merely personal but a public declaration of their new allegiance to Christ. Their unwavering commitment to their newfound faith, however, drew fierce opposition.
