Santa Eithne

Saint Eithne, daughter of King Leoghaire of Ireland and sister of Saint Fedelemia, is venerated for her profound encounter with the Gospel. According to tradition, she and her sister, while still young, met the Apostle of Ireland, Saint Patrick, near the fountain of Clebach. There, they received the foundational instruction of the Christian faith.
