San Leontius de Lydda

Saint Leontius of Lydda is venerated in certain Christian traditions as a martyr whose life was profoundly shaped by the witness of Saint George. According to tradition, he resided in Lydda, a city in the Roman province of Palestine, and was moved to embrace Christianity after observing the extraordinary courage and unwavering faith of Saint George during his own martyrdom.
