Biografía

San Felipe el Apóstol, uno de los Doce elegidos por Jesucristo, se venera por su fe firme y su servicio humilde. Nació en Betsaida, y fue inicialmente discípulo de San Juan Bautista antes de encontrarse con Cristo a través de San Andrés. San Felipe es famoso por traer a su amigo Natanael a Jesús, declarando: «Hemos hallado al que escribió Moisés en la ley y los profetas» (Juan 1:45). La Escritura lo presenta como práctico.
