Saint Rusticus of Trier, also known as Rusticus of Trier, was a prominent figure in the early Christian church as the Bishop of Trier, Germany. After his resignation, Rusticus embarked on a spiritual retreat and chose to live out the remainder of his days as a hermit at Saint Goar, a picturesque location situated along the Rhine River in Germany. Throughout his hermitage, Rusticus maintained a steadfast devotion to God and the principles of his faith.
