Biography

Blessed Acardo of Avranches, also known as Acardo of San Vittore or Achard, was born in the early 12th century to the noble Norman family. He received his education under the guidance of canons in Bridlington, located in the diocese of York, England. Acardo's thirst for knowledge led him to Paris, France, where he pursued further studies.
