At some point, Blessed Alexander joined the Franciscan Order and became a part of the Friar Minor Observant community at the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Chieri, a town located in the Piedmont region of Italy.

Throughout his life, Blessed Alexander dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the religious life and embraced the Franciscan charism of poverty, humility, and service to others. He lived a life of simplicity and prayer, finding solace in the contemplation of God.

Blessed Alexander's deep spirituality and commitment to his faith earned him a reputation for holiness among his fellow friars and the local community. His devotion to God and his virtuous example inspired others to pursue a closer relationship with Christ.

Although not much is recorded about specific acts or achievements, Blessed Alexander's life was marked by his unwavering devotion to the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi and his commitment to living a life of radical simplicity and humility.

Blessed Alexander of Milan passed away on September 7, 1505, while still residing in Chieri. Following his death, his relics were enshrined at the Church of San Giorgio in Chieri, where they are venerated to this day.
