Biography
Blessed Amancio Marín Mínguez, born on 26 March 1908 in Celada del Camino, Burgos, Spain, was a Mercedarian priest who became a martyr during the Spanish Civil War. Son of Julian and Alpina Marín, he grew up in a devout Catholic family and displayed a strong vocation to the priesthood from a young age. Known for his humility, kindness, and dedication to serving God and others, Amancio entered the novitiate of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy, commonly known as the Mercedarians, on 3 October 1924.
