Biography

Blessed Andreas Gim Gwangok was a layman martyr in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. He was born around 1841 in Yesan, Chungcheong-do, South Korea. Little is known about his early life and background, but he is remembered for his unwavering faith and courage in the face of persecution.
