Blessed Anthony Middleton, also known as Father Anthony Middleton, was born in Middleton Tyas, North Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Ambrose Middleton from Barnard Castle, Durham, and Cecil, the daughter of Anthony Crackenthorpe from Howgill Castle, Westmoreland.
