Biography

Blessed Antonio Vallesio was a Mercedarian missionary known for his devoted work in Tunisia during the 13th century. Born in Liguria, Italy, little is known about his early life and upbringing. However, his strong faith and desire to spread Christianity led him to join the Mercedarian Order, a religious community dedicated to ransoming Christian captives from Muslim lands.
