Blessed Bartholomew De Vir, also known as Bartholomew of Laon and Bartholomew of Foigny, was a distinguished figure in the Catholic Church, serving as the Bishop of Laon, France from 1113 to 1151. He is credited with playing a crucial role in the foundation of the Premonstratensian Order, alongside Saint Norbert of Xanten.
