Biography
Blessed Batone of Freising, also known as Baturico or Baturicus, was a devout monk who resided at the monastery of San Candido of Val Pusteria in the diocese of Freising, located in Germany. He served as the trusted chaplain to Bishop Ellenhard of Freising, who presided over the diocese from 1052 to 1078.
