Biography
Blessed Beatrice of Belmonte, also known as Beatrice of Navarre, was a member of the royal family of Navarre in modern-day Spain. She was born in the latter part of the 15th century in Navarre, and her exact date of birth is not known. Beatrice's familial connections granted her a privileged upbringing and a promising future, but she chose a different path in life.
