Blessed Cándido Castán San José, also known as Candido Castán, was a married layman and martyr who was born on August 5, 1894, in Benifaió, Valencia, Spain. He is celebrated as one of the Oblate Martyrs of the Spanish Civil War. His feast days are on July 24th and November 28th.
