Blessed Carlos Díaz Gandía, born on 25 December 1907 in Ontinyent, Valencia, Spain, was a lifelong layman in the archdiocese of Valencia. As a devout Catholic, he was baptized at the age of one day, and his strong faith would guide him throughout his life.
