Biography

Blessed Catherine of Pallanza, also known as Caterina Morigi di Pallanza, Catherine Morigi, Katarina Morigi, or Katarina of Pallanza, was born around the year 1437 in Pallanza, Italy. Unfortunately, Catherine's early years were marked by tragedy as her entire family succumbed to the plague when she was very young. She was then adopted by a woman in Milan, Italy, who provided her with care and support.
