Biography

Blessed Constance De Castro was born in the 13th century to the Spanish nobility in Lugo, Spain. She grew up in a time of political unrest and religious conflicts in the region. Constance's life took a turn when she married Captain Rodrigo Diaz de Andrade, who was known for his valor in battles against the Moors in Granada.
