Biography

Blessed Damiano Grassi of Rivoli, also known as Damian or Damien, was a 15th-century Dominican friar and Catholic saint. Born in Turin, Italy, in the mid-15th century, he was deeply inspired by the martyrdom of Blessed Antonius Neyrot in 1460. This event motivated Damiano to join the Dominican Order, becoming a dedicated servant of God and preparing himself for the possibility of martyrdom.
