Blessed Dionisio Vicente Ramos

Blessed Dionisio Vicente Ramos, also known as Dionisio Vicente Ramos or simply Dionisio Ramos, was a Franciscan Conventual friar, priest, and martyr in the Spanish Civil War. He was born on October 9, 1871, in Caudé, Teruel, Spain. Dionisio Vicente Ramos entered the Friars Minor Conventual, a branch of the Franciscan Order, and was ordained a priest. He dedicated his life to serving God and his community through his religious vocation. As a friar, he lived a life of poverty, chastity, and obedience, following the footsteps of Saint Francis of Assisi. During the turbulent years of the Spanish Civil War, religious persecution was rampant, and countless priests, religious, and laypeople became targets.
