Blessed Donal Oneylan was an Irish Franciscan priest and martyr. He was born in Ireland during a time of significant religious upheaval in the country. Known for his deep faith and commitment to his vocation, he dedicated his life to serving God and his community.

Not much is known about the early life of Blessed Donal Oneylan. However, it is believed that he entered the Franciscan Order during his youth, where he received a solid education in theology and spirituality. During the 16th century, Ireland was going through a period of religious turmoil.
