Biography
Blessed Edmund Duke was a prominent Catholic priest in the apostolic vicariate of England during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. He valiantly served the Catholic community during a time of intense persecution, ultimately sacrificing his own life in defense of his faith. Born around 1563 in Kent, England, Edmund Duke dedicated his life to the service of God and the Catholic Church.
