Biography
Blessed Eleuterio of Platea, also known as Eleutherius, was a Mercedarian lay knight who lived during the 13th century. He is revered for his personal piety and fervor for the austere life. While not much is known about his early life and background, his unwavering commitment to the Christian faith and his heroic acts in the face of extreme adversity make him a revered figure in the Catholic Church.
