Blessed Félix Alonso Muñiz, also known as Father Félix Alonso Muñiz, was a Dominican priest who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on May 2, 1896, in Oseja de Sajambre, León, Spain.
From a young age, Félix Alonso felt a strong calling to the priesthood and dedicated his life to serving God and the Church. He entered the Dominican Order and was ordained as a priest, embracing the Dominican charism of preaching, teaching, and contemplation. He ministered to the faithful, guiding them in the ways of faith and actively participating in the Dominican mission of evangelization.
